The Empowerment & Resilience Initiative (ERI) is a comprehensive program designed to empower at-risk young men aged 10-17 by equipping them with essential life skills, financial literacy, and conflict resolution strategies, while fostering personal growth and strengthening family dynamics. Over the course of 10 months, participants will engage in four 10-week workshops, which will be held every other Saturday. Each workshop concludes with a networking event and an educational trip, offering participants unique opportunities for real-world learning and exposure
• Equip youth with tools to foster personal development, including self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and goal-setting.
• Teach conflict resolution techniques to manage interpersonal issues and foster peaceful interactions.
• Develop financial literacy to prepare participants for future financial independence, including managing assets and liabilities.
• Strengthen family skills, improving communication, emotional support, and cooperation within family dynamics
• Networking Event: Each workshop concludes with a networking event where participants engage with community leaders, professionals, and mentors.
• Out-of-State Trips: A thematically related trip will be organized after each workshop, providing hands-on learning and exposure to new environments.
